Inspiration

One of my friends posted this on FB and I ended up watching it a dozen times. Most poker blogs are fairly moody, dependent on recent results. I need to develop Will Smith's indomitable spirit and work ethic. No more complaints, just continual progress.

Also started reading "Deal Me In", about various player's beginnings. There are continual themes of studying the game, especially with other like-minded individuals, as well as the spirit to repeatedly take higher shots and go broke. There are also themes of avoiding major life leaks of casino games, drugs, women, etc. I've taken a few higher shots, but I need to work on that more and continue to develop my game.

Bing Blang Blaow!

The final cut of "Bing Blang Blaow" is available here:
www.bingblangblaow.com

Here's an article on the origin:
"Grinder's Anthem - Bing Blang Blaow Poker Song"

I think I like the original better, although that might just be familiarity. The new verses are pretty tight, though.

I finally broke into the black today for the month. Seems like I always have a breakeven week or two before I remember how to play. I think it's some form of tilt where I see aggro regs get rewarded for plays and I get jealous. Must develop tunnel vision.
